~ Courtyard weave~

Courtyard Weave is a housing development in Livadia, Cyprus, composed as a chain of planted courtyards that structure access, social life, and microclimate. Residential blocks address the site perimeter for views and privacy, while the inward-facing courts become shared, protected ground for meeting, play, and everyday outdoor living. Alternating unit layouts introduce variation in plan and elevation, avoiding repetitive floor-by-floor uniformity. Parking and communal amenities are placed underground, allowing residents to move from a shared base to their apartments via vertical cores. A high-performance envelope and warm-toned materials support energy efficiency and a hospitable, human-scaled atmosphere.
